ONCE UPON A TIME, there lived a chimp named Chucky. He was a wise-ass. Nobody knew why. He just was. Some people are born wise-asses, and so they go through their lives cracking one-liners, mocking people and being sarcastic. This was Chucky...

Chucky lives in a far-off mythical wooded glen called Chuffy Acres. He has lots of friends, who all have little personality quirks. Tillie the Tipsy Turtle is a popular socialite who can't really control her urges to imbibe spirits by the bottleful. She was often found in the Chuffy Pub, or passed out in front of the Six-Twelve.

Chucky's best friend is Dudley the Dumb-ass Deer. Dudley wasn't always a dumb-ass. He had an unfortunate brush with a hunter when he was very young, which left him with some buckshot in his brain and a sweet, albeit very slow, personality.

Sometimes Chucky and Dudley hang out with Pablo the Pissed-off Panda. Pablo's mom was a polar bear, and his dad was an Alaskan black bear. This gave him a mixed coat, so he was doomed to go through life with people asking him what it felt like to be an endangered species. After years of explaining his geneology, he developed a rather unpleasant demeanor and a lot of built-up rage.

For as angry as he is, Pablo is the object of Sally the Skanky Skunk's affections. Sally has very low self-esteem and spends her days trying to win Pablo's heart and fornicating with all the residents of Chuffy Acres. For as much make-up as she wears, and as provocatively as she dresses, she can't seem to get Pablo's attention.

Chucky lives next door to Ricky the Recluse Rabbit. Ricky is rarely seen in public, due to his crippling agoraphobia and social anxiety disorder, so nobody really knows what he looks like.

And so the residents of Chuffy Acres go through life, interacting with each other, having all sorts of dysfunctional adventures and seeking the sage-like advice of Ollie the Okay Owl. Ollie tends bar at the Chuffy Pub and tries to counsel the Chuffy folk with all of the wisdom he gained through years of therapy. But all too often, it falls on deaf ears.

Intrigued by this little drama? Soon you will be able to follow all of the goings-on in Chuffy Acres right here, on this Web site, through weekly chronicals. You will also be able to find Chucky cropping up on t-shirts across the country. Stay tuned, because there's a little bit of Chucky (and Tillie and Pablo and the rest of the gang) in all of us. You, as the reader, just have to ask yourself, will I give in to my inner Chucky? That is a question only you can answer...
