< APRIL 27 > sitting in bed on a saturday morning, reading my email and looking for a job. wireless technology rocks.

i saw an awesome band last night--amboy kelso--at some crazy bar in menlo park. it was all done up like a british bank.

< APRIL 15 > great weekend. went down to santa cruz, hung out at the ocean. it was beautiful. only drama was that i'm an idiot and didn't think i needed the sunblock, so now i'm nice and toasty. sunburn is never fun.

< APRIL 11 > the last couple days of my life have been dedicated to redesigning the business site so i can start looking for a new job. go have a look and tell me what you think.

< APRIL 10 > i've been trying to put this page up for like an hour now, but earthlink keeps dropping my dialup connection. i need broadband real bad. stupid at&t and their no cable modem policy for palo alto.

is it just me, or is the plot of 24 getting a bit ridiculous? amnesia? really now...

< APRIL 7 > went to the wings game last night. notice how i did not say the sharks game, even though i did see it at the arena in san jose. it was ugly. my boys lost 6-3, but they did have a good reason, resting up for the playoffs and all. again, i miss out on seeing hasek play in person. but at least i get free pizza out of the deal, so it's not all bad.

< APRIL 4 > where does the time go? i made it out to california, so greetings from the west coast. in the last month, i've driven three-quarters of the way across the country, gone to ireland, seen more sheep than i ever hoped to, observed steve jobs buying apples in the whole foods, been quizzed by scientologists, and received news that laura is now a prize-winning writer. i'm still in the middle of trying to get settled in, and trying to remember which box i put all the important stuff that i need into. by this weekend i hope to be unpacked and ready to go. then, on to important things, like getting a job... it's always something, eh?

< MARCH 11 > i'm looking out the window at the ryder truck, and i need to start putting all these boxes into it. the move has begun...

this weekend was pretty awesome. ladies night on saturday, brunch with laura's family on sunday. i'm really going to miss a lot of people.

< MARCH 3 > it got to be that time again. another installment of the archive is here.

< MARCH 2 > bledwhite turned 1 yesterday. it's hard to believe this site's been up for a whole year. how the time does fly. i guess this means it's time to redesign.

what else is going on... i sold my car yesterday, making this move totally real. i promptly had an attack, but i'm better now. it was just a little overwhelming to think that i have to have all of this done in 10 days.

and i spent last weekend in michigan helping my dad recover from surgery. i had to shovel snow. but he's doing much better now, so that's a good thing.
